Nightbot has the ability to send messages on a schedule so you don't have to remember to. This is frequently used for social media links or commonly asked question responses.
A timer will wait a specified amount of time and then check to see if the specified number of lines have passed before displaying a message or running a commercial.
To create a new timer, click the button on the timers page.
Then fill out the dialog that appears.
Every - Choose from 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. This will be the interval that the number of lines in chat will be checked.
When - Choose from 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 or 50 lines. This is the number of lines in chat that must appear before the timer will be triggered.
Run - Whether to send a message or run a commercial.
Message - If this timer sends a message, this is where your response goes.
Use the button to start/stop an existing timer.
Use the button to open the edit dialog and make changes to existing timers.
Use the button to remove an existing timer.
